SOUTH SIDE (KDKA)- A 19-year-old is recovering after being shot during a home invasion on the South Side Sunday night.
Police say three masked men entered the victim’s home in the 100-block of South 17th Street around 11:10 p.m.
The suspects entered the home and demanded money from the victim. They allegedly pistol-whipped the victim and ended up shooting him one time.
The bullet went through the victim’s hand and thigh. He was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital and is in stable condition.
The suspects were able to run away from the scene with a backpack.
